Pay As You Go lets you purchase individual job leads (non exclusive) starting at just $8 each instead of paying a monthly or annual subscription. You only pay when you decide to apply for a specific job. This is perfect for tradies and service providers who prefer flexibility and don't want monthly commitments. Your account includes 2 trades / services, 100km job radius, and 15 portfolio photos.

Higher tier memberships give you earlier access to job notifications via email, more job applications per month, wider service areas, additional trades / services and the ability to showcase more portfolio work.

* Each trade or service category you list counts towards your plan's trades / services limit. Where a trade requires a licence, registration, or certification by law, you can only list it if you hold and maintain the valid licence. The Quote Yard may decline to add, or may remove, any trade for which a valid licence is not provided, and no refund or adjustment applies where this results in fewer listed trades than your plan's maximum.

Job Alerts are email notifications sent when new jobs matching your trade / service, location, and service area are posted. The type of alert you receive determines how quickly you're notified after a customer posts a job, giving higher-tier members early access to apply before the competition.

Here's how it works:

When a customer posts a job, we give them a 1-hour grace period to add photos, edit details, and finalize their posting. After this grace period, we begin notifying and service providers in tiers:

Priority Job Alerts (Premium): You receive email notifications 1-2 hours after the job is posted. This means you're the first tradie or service provider to see new opportunities.

Accelerated Job Alerts (Plus): You receive email notifications 2-3 hours after the job is posted. You're second in line, getting access to jobs before Basic, PAYG, and Trial members.

Standard Job Alerts (Basic, PAYG, Trial): You receive email notifications 3-4 hours after the job is posted. While you still see all available jobs, you're competing with more and service providers who have already had the opportunity to apply.

Why does this matter? Being notified earlier means less competition and a higher chance of winning the job.

Important: All new jobs are posted immediately to your dashboard for all members to see on an equal basis. The tiered alert system only applies to email notifications. This means if you're actively checking your dashboard, you can see and apply for jobs as soon as they're posted, regardless of your membership level.

Up To 50, 100, or unlimited Job Applications/Month refers to how many jobs you can apply for each month, depending on your membership plan. When a customer posts a job, you can apply for the job via the platform - this counts as one application. Your allowance resets at the beginning of each monthly billing cycle. If you reach your limit, you'll need to wait until the next cycle or upgrade to a higher plan.

Job Radius determines how far from your location you'll receive job notifications. For example, with a 100km radius, you'll see jobs within 100 kilometers of your registered address. A larger radius means more job opportunities. The Premium plan offers unlimited radius, so you can work anywhere across Australia.

Trades / Services refers to how many different trade or service categories you can list on your profile (e.g., plumbing, electrical, cleaning, catering etc...). If applicable, each trade / service requires proper licensing verification. Pay As You Go, Free Trial and Basic memberships allow 2 trades / services, the Plus membership allows 5, and the Premium plan offers unlimited trades / services.

Portfolio photos let you showcase your best work to potential clients. High-quality before/after photos, completed jobs, and examples of your craftsmanship help build trust and demonstrate your expertise. More photos mean you can show a wider range of your capabilities, potentially leading to more job opportunities and higher value projects.

Monthly memberships automatically renew each month and the monthly fee is automatically charged to ensure uninterrupted service. If you wish to stop monthly renewals, you must cancel your membership, and you'll retain service for the remainder of that month. For annual billing, you can choose to enable auto-renewal when signing up. We'll charge your payment method on the renewal date and send email notifications before each renewal. Annual billing offers a 20% discount compared to monthly payments. Please note that there are no refunds for fees already paid. Pay As You Go users are only charged when purchasing individual job leads.

Yes, you can cancel your membership at any time from your account settings. Please note there are no refunds for fees already paid. Your membership remains active until the end of your current billing period, so you can continue using all features until then. Pay As You Go users have no subscription to cancel - they simply stop purchasing leads when they choose.
